[MPlayer-users] vb_strategy and vmax_b_frames

I've noticed that when doing a 2-pass with
vmax_b_frames=2:vb_strategy=1, the resulting AVI has B-frames.  But if I
use vmax_b_frames=1:vb_strategy=1, it does not.

Is this a bug?  If not, why does it work that way?
