[MPlayer-users] No mencoder

I just installed mplayer "MPlayer 1.0pre3-RPM-3.2.2 (C) 2000-2003 MPlayer 
Team" and there is no mencoder.  i tried to run mencoder to rip this dvd 
and the command is not found.  The man pages has it in there.  What's 
going on?
