[MPlayer-users] merge two identical videos BUT preserver subtitles (vob, srt, etc)

Hi!

I use avimerge to merge two .avi files, and use mencoder to reduce the
excessive bitrate and to get rid of the AC3 sound.

I get a smaller file, but how can I reuse the original vobsub/srts that
came with the two files? is it possible to somehow use mencoder or the
parameters I used with mencoder for that?

Ah! Another question! I have two avi files with the audio desincronized,
I have to use mplayer -delay -0.5 ... Since mencoder DOESN'T recognize
-delay as an option, what can I do to fix those two files?
