[MPlayer-users] a bug? - avi from image files!

I have had many problems with getting avi's from files.  What I ended up 
having to do was the following.

Upgrade to the CVS versions of ffmpeg and mplayer
convert my images to .sgi

and then I got really good results.  I am outputing from openDX sci data 
and it is coming in miff format so it was a simple convert.  Your 
command line will change to something link
mencoder mf://"*.sgi" -ovc lavc....
