All the sites I've been to show how to use inverse telecine on NTSC 
material.

I've recorded an mpeg2 stream from a DVB, a cartoon, which is telecined, 
and it's in PAL. What is the best way to inverse telecine it? I've tried 
using filmdint, pullup, but I get a lot of duplicate frames. I've tried 
using -ofps 24 (since this is a cartoon it originally has 24 frames per 
second, or am I wrong?).

What is the best way to losslessly get non-interlaced material with 
mencoder?

Mplayerhq.hu is currently not responding, so I couldn't check if someone 
else had already asked this kind of question, so I'm sorry if it was 
asked before.
