[MPlayer-users] reload playlist

Guys,

 

Is there any possibility to reload the playlist currently playing?

I mean: what if I wish to change the playlist from another machine and
wishes to make it happen while mplayer is running - just as winamp does.

 

Q2: are there any effects supported by mplayer when walking through the
playlist? Fade in/fade out, anything?
