Yes, you should be able to, but you will have to build an index upon
opening the file(it's a menu option in avidemux2)

Then the question is, which of the two are not following OpenDML specs,
mplayer or avidumux2?  Try playing the mplayer-created file with Xine or
some other program that supports OpenDML, and see if it works.  If it
plays without error, then you need to be talking with the avidemux
writers about their handling of opendml.
