 Hello,

 I'm trying to record TV with mencoder but i always have the same problem. I
 tryed to look on google for it, but didn't find a good answer.
 I have to say first that i can watch TV with mplayer.
 Here is the command i'm using to try to record:

 mencoder -tv
-driver=v4l:device=/dev/video0:input=0:width=720:height=576:channel=E6:norm=pal
 -ovc lavc -lavcopts vcodec=mpeg4:vbitrate=900 -oac mp3lame -lameopts cbr:br=96
 -vf crop=720:544:24:16,pp=lb -o output.avi tv://

 Here is what the outpu says:

 greg at Phoebe fun $ mencoder -tv
 driver=v4l:device=/dev/video0:input=0:width=720:eight=576:channel=E6:norm=pal
 -ovc lavc -lavcopts vcodec=mpeg4:vbitrate=900 -oa mp3lame -lameopts cbr:br=96
 -vf crop=720:544:24:16,pp=lb -o output.avi tv:// MEncoder

 Exiting...

 I don't know from where it could come from... Is it something related to my TV
 card or my configuration?
 I have the latest snapshot of mplayer (and mencoder).

 Thanks for helping me :)

 Greg
