Right now I see in configure 'if it's x86 and linux then try'.
You can try forcing it, by passing --enable-vesa to configure.
If it compiles than and works, then post a message here or on -dev-eng,
that FreeBSD supports it.
But make sure before trying, that you have sys/io.h in your include
path. If you don't and can't find it than it's certainly not supported.
