Hi,
see this message? libdvdread is missing support for
encrypted DVDs. This is not mplayer fault. What you
should do is install another library, libdvdcss is
usually its name.
On a side note, I suggest you to download the mplayer
sources and compile it yourself, as the dependency on
libdvdread is not needed, this way, in favour of
another library, libmpdvdkit, which is included.
