[MPlayer-users] 2-pass log and quality

Hi guys,

I'm just wondering, does the options you use to encode video with in 
2-pass mode, influence or change in any way the format and/or content of 
the log file?

If I use the fastest options in xvid (or lavc for that matter) in the 
first pass, is the log file usable for the second pass if I use all the 
highest quality (slowest) switches instead?

The combination of options I'm using for xvid gives me nice qulity, but 
it often runs below 10fps on a 2ghz Athlon...
