FYI, I got it to play by adding 0xfffe to the appropriate raw PCM section in
codecs.conf (as I was told on IRC).

I've uploaded the problematic track to ftp.mplayerhq.hu/MPlayer/incoming, as
corticalstim_-_sumito_5.1_clip.wav.
