Yeah, it's a win-win situation for them, and a lose-lose situation for
you!  Not only do they get to force you to buy a new player every time
they decide to add "security" but they are the only ones with 100%
rights to use that file.  No competitors.  No third party.  No free
market.  Not even you.  Then they pay people to act earnest and
knowledgable, but lie to you, and try to claim that in taking your
rights they are standing on some firm moral ground.  How could anyone
pass up a bargain like that!
