[MPlayer-users] NODAEMON mplayer, directfb and bash

Hi,

I use mplayer with directfb on my via c3 with cle266.  When I run mplayer -playlist from a telnet console, it works perfectly.  However, when i run mplayer from within a bash script (that uses locate, and such, to generate a playlist), mplayer just freezes when i press any key and requires a kill -9 to return to prompt.  I have only recently switched to directfb, and the script worked perfectly before.

Does anyone out there have any idea whats going on?
