That is exact command-line, im using mplayer with freevo... I have
tested "-vop pp=ci" without success, I will test pp=md if it works...

Here is little more what freevo shows when starting tv-app:

USING STANDARD FREQUENCY: chan="E12", freq="224250"
logging child to "/tmp/freevo/mplayer-stdout.log"
logging child to "/tmp/freevo/mplayer-stderr.log"
self.t1.isAlive()=True, self.t2.isAlive()=True
ChildApp.__init__(), pid=4919, app= /usr/bin/mplayer -vo dfbmga -fs
-autosync 100 -nolirc -autoq 100 -fs -slave -nocache tv:// -tv
driver=v4l2:freq=224.250:device=/dev/video0:input=0:norm=PAL:width=720:height=576:outfmt=yuy2
-vop pp=ci, poll=-1
1111593545.31: started tv app
