It's known that DTS soundtracks are better than the AC3 ones on DVDs
that include both, and not disputed. What's disputed is the reason.
There is nothing good about the DTS codec; it's just encoded from a
better master. AC3 may be slightly worse, but AAC is surely
significantly better, and I expect vorbis is significantly better too
if the >2 channel coupling stuff was ever fixed..
