When trying to install using 2.6 kernel, i get the following error during
install:
Partition disks
No partitionable media
No partitionable media were found.
Please check that a hard disk is attached to this machine.
So i guess i stay with FC, and wait for the kernel fix for DMA to come out,
and maybe i'll try some things myself too.
The modules of interest (as suggested by Debian that is) appear to be:
ide-scsi (Linux ide-scsi emulation layer)
ide-mod (Linux ide driver)
ide-probe-mod (Linux ide probe driver)
ide-detect (Linux ide detection)
