[MPlayer-users] One last appeal for help with RealMedia files

I do not wish to take up too much more of your time, but:

How can I repent if my sinful ways are not pointed out?

OK.

I tried to upload to the MPlayer FTP server and failed. Then I posted (my
very 1st post to this list) to ask how to upload the file. I was informed
that FTP was not working because of a server crash. It was suggested that I
use megaupload. Another site was suggested, but they keep files for a
shorter time. I will try to upload to MPlayer again, or find a less
offensive server.

a) From the online docs: (which claim to be updated nightly from CVS)
"B.3. Where to report bugs
Subscribe to the MPlayer-users mailing list:
http://mplayerhq.hu/mailman/listinfo/mplayer-users and send your bug report
to mailto:mplayer-users at mplayerhq.hu where you can discuss it."

mplayer-cygwin is "For Developers". Sadly, I am not one of them. I feared
the inferno that would have surely come my way if I posted there. May I
tell them that you sent me?

>Top posting (and quoting your entire pervious message) is very annoying.

Sorry.

>Your bugreport is missing a few things listed in the bugreport docs, for
>instance "[BUGREPORT]" in the status line

The online documentation, which claims to be built nightly from CVS, says
nothing of the kind. Because of this claim, I have not attempted to build
the documentation included with the source. However, inspection of
bugreports.xml does not reveal the existence of any such instruction.

>When someone hasn't taken the time to read what and where they should be
>reporting...

Apart from the non-existent instruction above, and a deliberate decision not
to post to a list that is not intended for users, and not uploading to an
FTP server that was not working at the time, what have I missed? Or is
anyone who can run configure and make a developer?
