I ran several tests today, using my muxer and mplex.
I didn't see any major difference in the pts/dts couples (at most in the
order of 3 ms)
and not even any major difference of desynchronization playing the two
streams on TV.
To generate the video stream I used only mencoder with your settings,
not mpeg2enc,
otherwise I coulnd't have a common factor for a serious comparison.
Can you send me some samples, please?
