I figured it out. I basically re-wrote .mpg into .mpg w/ my .sub
subtitles using mencoder. I don't expect any issues from now on, but if anything
i'll make sure to ask.
>From what i'm seeing the subtitles are currently burnt into the stream, which is
OK for what i'm doing right now. At least i won't have to worry about them being
stripped off in the DVD.
