It looks very much like your videocard driver is just buggy. You can
try older/newer ones to see if the results are any better (try with -vo
xv first, since xvmc isn't going to work if xv doesn't).
You might also try adding the line:
Option "XaaNoOffscreenPixmaps"
...to the "Device" section of your xorg.conf, since that was a necessary
bug workaround not long ago.
It might be that your card doesn't have enough memory available to it,
so check that in your BIOS.
You have your display set to a somewhat unusual resolution... You might
try changing that to something like 800x600 (temporarily).
