[MPlayer-users] Problem with mplayer 1.0pre8 and xawtv 3.95 on RH9

Hi,

I just compiled and installed mplayer-1.0pre8-0.4.20051128 on my RH9 
system. mplayer works fine.

I also have a Haupauge Bt878 TV card and xawtv 3.95 installed.

After first start of gmplayer the xawtv screen stays black (can't see any 
picture). After restarting the X-Server (XFree86-4.3.0-2.90.55) on my 
Nvidia FX5200 card xawtv works perfect again. After starting and stoping 
gmplayer xawtv fails to work.

Before I used mplayer-1.0-42.99_pre6a where both systems cooperated 
perfectly.

Does anybody know whats going wrong here? I already searched the list but 
I did not find an answer to this problem ...
