[MPlayer-users] dvd playback and audio delay

I noticed that when playing a dvd through xine the audio is in sync, but 
with mplayer the sound is out of sync. If I remember correctly there is 
some sort of delay that is stored somewhere (in the ifo file?) for each 
title/audiostream. Does mplayer/mencoder use this at all? Or am I 
missing a setting somewhere?
