[MPlayer-users] replaygain

hello.
I am wondering if anyone knows:
does mplayer read and use replaygain information?  I googled and I saw a 
thread about replaygian oggvorbis support in a development context, but I 
didn't find anything that said one way or the other, yes or no.  also, if it 
suppports replaygain for vorbis, does it support it for mp3/aac files.
