You mean besides using -ss -endpos -oac copy? You'll probably need to  
use an -of option. Audacity is a FOSS tool that can edit WAV, MP3,  
and Vorbis, though Vorbis and MP3 editing is not lossless (IE, you'll  
have to transcode it)
