Hi, I would like to make some MPG files in "mpeg-es" format. I can make make
MPG files
in "mpeg-ps" format (according to "mplayer -identify"). It is possible for
Mencoder to make
"mpeg-es" format files? If not does anybody know why?

I can make a "mpeg-es" file but with no sound:

/usr/bin/mencoder -ovc lavc -oac lavc -lavcopts \
vcodec=mpeg1video:vrc_buf_size=327:vrc_maxrate=1150:vbitrate=1150:keyint=15:\
acodec=mp2:abitrate=192 -ofps 25 -vf harddup -of rawvideo output.mpg
input.wmv

Using "mplayer -identify" I get this:

ID_FILENAME=output.mpg
ID_DEMUXER=mpeges
ID_VIDEO_FORMAT=0x10000001

Thanks for your help
