[MPlayer-users] why audio video usage can be larger than 100%?

Hi,all!
When I use mplayer to play a H.264 file on a PC not fast enough
I see the status line shows that 
 A:x V:x A-V:x ct:x x/x 187% 239% ....
187% means the CPU usage used by the video decoder ,doesn't it?
239% means the CPU usage of data output?
so,why can they be larger than 100%?
