I've just got one of those files (Robotica_720.exe, btw I didn't know that
those exe's could be extracted with unzip). I have the same problem I
mentioned before, CPU is 99%-100% and the image flickers.
If I scale it down a little bit to 1024:576 then I can see it perfectly, even
the CPU is still 99%.

I compiled from source. I also forgot to mention that my computer has 1 GB of
RAM and I'm using MPlayer 1.0rc1-3.3.4.
Question: my screen is configured to 16 bit color, if I set it to 24 or 32
bit, could the performance improve a little bit? Although that would be more
data to transfer...
