FreeBSD-6.2
xfce-4.4.1

When attempting to run 'mplayer' from 'xfce-4.4.1', I receive an error
message.

	[WS] Shared Memory Extension Error.

GDB is virtually useless. This is all I could get using it:

Compiled with runtime CPU detection.
[New Thread 0x87c5000 (LWP 100119)]

(<unknown>:1701): Gdk-WARNING **: shmget failed: error 12 (Cannot
allocate memory)

[ws] shared memory extension error

Any one have an idea how I can correct this problem? Mplayer works fine
from the command line.

Any philosophy that can be put in a nutshell belongs there.
