You're welcome, but I really wouldn't take offense if I were you. If you 
consider what I had written to be unhelpful, then you should consider 
that I actually went out of my way to explain to you how to ask your 
question better, and I was prepared to help you further. We have 
documentation that states what information is needed, so I could have 
just written "RTF bugreports.html".

If I were to ask a question in a community you are familiar with and the 
way I asked the question violated well-established rules of etiquette in 
that community (such that many people who could help me would ignore my 
question), would it be preachy or arrogant of you to point out to me how 
to avoid breaching such etiquette in the future?
