Thanks Carl. I would be very happy to use binaries, but my principal driver
for doing this is to enable me to dump the latest rtsp streams from BBC and
play them in something other than Realplayer, i.e convert to mp3's or other
generic forms, which is why I'm going for the newest.
I'm immensely grateful for your help.
