[MPlayer-users] RTSP audio doesn't work

Revered developers, fellow users,

I cannot seem to play a realaudio stream w/ mplayer. It doesn't play
directly, and doesn't dump the audio. I'm using the following command line:

mplayer -v -nocache -dumpaudio -playlist
'http://vodreal.stanford.edu/opa/philo/061022.ram'

Outputs ends with:

[...]
VIDEO: RV40 [40003000,00081020] 160x120 (aspect 0.00) 15.00 fps
AUDIO: cook [6B6F6F63]
VIDEO: [RV40] 160x120 24bpp 15.000 fps 0.0 kbps ( 0.0 kbyte/s)

Then it just sits there, no audio output. One guess is the reason it
doesn't work is that there's a single image frame embedded in the stream
which is shown in RealPlayer, but causes trouble form mplayer.

It works with RealPlayer. I'm running the latest tarball from mplayerhq.

Any idea how to fix it?

Cheers,
Paulus

PS: the source of the stream is
http://www.philosophytalk.org/pastShows/BS.html (I'd like to turn this
into an .mp3 file to use on an MP3-player). The streams are quite nice, btw.
