Am on Mandriva 2006 linux. With an old mplayer. MPlayer 1.0pre7-4.0.1 (C) 2000-2005 MPlayer Team I seem to be needing wma, m4a, and some odd AVI codecs. For the best recent version - should I install as packages or compile from SVN from scratch ?
