We are all volunteers and have regular work to do. -dev list simply has
a huge amount of code and it is easy to overlook your message or just
not consider it important at that moment. Please try writing a reply to
your suggestion so the thread is bumped on top again (just resending
patches is much, much less efficient). I will usually respond to the
second such reminder _at latest_, even for things I am neither
responsible for nor care about.
Otherwise you can add something to the bugzilla, while that quite often
gets ignored too the open issues at least are all reviewed before a
release and thus not completely forgotten.
