[MPlayer-users] Mixing of two Input Streams (Overlay)

Dear mplayer people,

I'm quite new to mplayer...

Is it possible to mix two input streams:
   1. HTTP Streaming video playlist via LAN and
   2. Description (live-generated content - describes http stream and 
includes some images)
by overlaying stream 2 over 1?

As the output hardware I would like to use a SDI board like bluefish444 
or similar. Is this possible?

And how may I generate dynamic content to be displayed on the output 
video signal? As I read, flash isn't supported. Do you have any other 
suggestions?
