[MPlayer-users] Problems with reading/dumping rtsp streams on Ubuntu Edgy

The crux of the problem seems to be around these two lines:

rdt chunk not recognized: got 0x53
rdt chunk not recognized: got 0x4d

I get an output file of 502 bytes every time.

The same error arises when I try to just play this same stream, so I am 
not sure of the problem or how to track it down.

I also get the same error no matter what rtsp stream I try.

Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated.
