[MPlayer-users] Is there any way I can point mplayer directly to an IP address + port?

Naturally, the reason I want to get ahold of the url is that I don't
want to have to fire up a web browser to listen to radio stations. 

$ mplayer <url>

.. strikes me as the better approach.
