And that ActiveX control will magically fall out of the sky and maintain
itself or that some developer will suddenly have the urge to work on it
(despite it being Windows-only and most developers using Linux) while at
the same time hardly anyone spends time on the slave mode interface that
is actually used?
Anyway, there were several people making an mplayer.dll, while it may
have done the job in the short run it has more than enough problems
(though honestly, it would probably be better port xine-lib to Windows).
And either way, quite a few people would not be too happy with it,
because all of these approaches can only be used by GPL-compatible
projects.
