I'm receiving the following errors and I'm unsure of what it means. I'm
pretty new to this stuff so please excuse if it's something simple. Thanks
in advance.

$ mencoder -v video.vob -vf crop=720:432:0:0,harddup -ovc x264 -x264encopts
threads=auto
subq=4:bframes=3:b_pyramid:weight_b:turbo=1:pass=1:psnr:bitrate=1000 -oac
copy -of rawvideo -o video.264

Maybe you are playing a non-interleaved stream/file or the codec failed?
For AVI files, try to force non-interleaved mode with the -ni option.
