I've reported it a while ago :
http://lists.mplayerhq.hu/pipermail/mplayer-users/2009-June/077096.html.
It's the same with gcc-4.4.1, so as you, I use the 3.4 release.

I've tried to compile it with --enable-debug, but then there is no
such segfault, so it's hard to help. I hope it will be fixed soon in
mplayer or gcc...
