Hello there,

I use gnome-mplayer as a graphical frontend to mplayer. When reading DVDs, it first runs
mplayer like that :
"mplayer -vo null -ao null -nomsgcolor -nomsgmodule -frames 0 -noidx -identify -nocache -noidle dvd://"
presumably to build a playlist from DVD titles.
With one of my DVDs ("Babies", zone 2) , mplayer eats up all my system memory (2Go RAM + 128Mo swap) before hanging. The console messages say :
"
*** libdvdread: CHECK_VALUE failed in /home/seb/libdvdread-4.1.4/src/ifo_read.c:1256 ***
*** for vts_ptt_srpt->title[i].ptt[j].pgn != 0 ***
*** libdvdread: CHECK_VALUE failed in /home/seb/libdvdread-4.1.4/src/ifo_read.c:1967 ***
*** for pgci_ut->nr_of_lus < 100 ***
"
That's with mplayer SVN-r32632 and libdvdread checked out from svn.
Replacing -identify with -msglevel identify={1,2,3} works fine, and hangs with -msglevel identify={4+}

Thanks for your help,
Seb.
