No, I just have a large number of vob files ripped from DVD's, without 
the rest of the files that would make them work.  Most Linux players 
handle them just fine.  and Mencoder can even extract near perfect subs 
with vobsubout (but then, I have to add a palette for MPlayer, otherwise 
Mplayer doesn't try to do the black/white thing.)  I've been in the 
process re encoding these and remuxing into mkv, which has been working 
fine, but noticed with a new svn snapshot of mplayer that now they don't 
display correctly if I just play the vob (that's still an improvement, 
for a while now, svn mplayer didn't display the subs at all.)
