I believe fixing compilation is important;-)
Unfortunately, there is something wrong with the echo/tr/sed combination when
writing config.mak: Try ./configure --disable-vaapi --disable-vdpau (all
hw-accels that are installed on your system) and run grep CONFIG_= config.mak.
