Can't you just provide the first 10 MB or so? I'd assume it'd show the
same issue.

I don't think that command is correct, it certain doesn't work for me,
saying the video isn't available.
I've tried
rtmpdump -r rtmp://webcast.weyond.com/vod/edited/801_0001.flv -y edited/801_0001.flv > file.flv

And the file seems to be playable.
Admittedly I didn't download all of it, so I only assume that it would
still be playable then.
