[MPlayer-users] Generate image file output with mencoder

I retrieved the latest mplayer via svn.  I also checked out the latest
ffmpeg and put it in mplayer/ffmpeg.  When I ran ./configure, I receive
this error:

    You have an outdated FFmpeg SVN checkout in ffmpeg/, please (re)move or replace it

What am I doing wrong here?
