analysis why that commit is wrong in multiple ways.

  For DVDs in the drive, the behaviour is the other way around since
that commit. It tries to decrypt them even if they are not encrypted.
That does not result in fatal failure, but is at least strange.

  If I find the time, I will try to reproduce your case tomorrow.
If I do not reply soon, it might be a good idea if you go ahead
and report to the libdvdcss mailing list.
