Now I remember the problem, VC-1 doesn't support threads.
Still using one single core of my old AMD Phenom and forcing it to 800 MHz I am about 20-50% too slow.
Not sure if that CPU will end up throttling due to being fanless, but with only one core used I'd expect it to still run at turbo frequencies.
Considering that in contrast to the old atoms it is also an out-of-order architecture I'd actually expect it to handle it easily. But who knows.

Well, chances might be you'll never have to decode VC-1 anyway.
