Well, I've send this patch some days ago and got no answer, so, following 
tech/patches.txt WHICH I HAVE READ VERY CAREFULLY ;) I am reminding you about 
it. I see that most of you are mostly interested in encodings, and that g2 
will have no GUI, so this is not too important. But there are users out there 
who can't program it themselves or even don't use the command line. If the 
problem is the need to change all translations, well, it's one that could be 
solved. And I think I've found the right solution for subtitle conversions 
with non-ttf fonts.
