it's normal. dox was buggy and has been fixed already.
it always create output file, but at first pass, if -pass 1 is sepcified, it
also generates some log file describing frame complexity.

it's a bug, but we need much more info to be able to fix it...
i hope you really don't use that not-liked-by-us gcc version, and have
perfect hardware.
btw. amd k6-2 has no SSE, so why do you need --disable-sse at all???
