Well, according to lspci, I've got revision 5.  But I guess you're 
referring to the name that the SB marketers have chosen.  It's just a 
plain vanilla SB Live with a digital-out daughter card.  I got it way back 
before all the Platinum and Gamer lines came out -- all they had was the 
regular Live! and the Live! Value.  The only difference was that the Value 
didn't have the digital I/O.

I too have tried xine.  I can play back .vob files with AC3 just fine.  
DVD playback is problematic, though.  The first few seconds are beautiful,
but after that, the system just hangs and I have to hit the reset button.  
(Can't even ssh in to kick the box.  I suspect it's a xine plugin problem
or something -- non-AC3 playback works fine.)
